galium.io is a purely private, non-commercial website, operated exclusively for personal and family purposes. It carries no advertising, no affiliate links, and no journalistic-editorial content, and it is not open for public registration.

As a digital service serving exclusively personal and family purposes, this site is not subject to the provider-identification requirements of §5 DDG or §18 Abs. 1 MStV; an Impressum is therefore not required. Members can reach the operator directly — every account here was created by personal invitation.

galium.io is a private, invite-only photo-sharing service for a closed circle of family and friends. It is not a commercial offering and is not open for public registration.

Data stored: account details provided at registration (name, email address, country of residence), uploaded photos and their derivatives, comments, and the technical data required to operate the service (session data, server logs). Photo derivatives served to members have EXIF/GPS metadata removed.

Hosting: all data is stored on a server operated in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH) on encrypted volumes. Transactional email (sign-in links, invitations) is delivered via Mailjet (EU). No data is transferred to third countries; no analytics, tracking, or third-party scripts are used.

Cookies: only strictly necessary session cookies are used to keep members signed in. No consent banner is required for these (§25 Abs. 2 TDDDG).

Legal basis and your rights:processing is based on the members' participation in this private service (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b/f DSGVO). Members can request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data at any time directly from the operator; accounts and their content are deleted on request.
